2 Permanent-Full time position, 25h to 35h/week (50h guaranteed every 2 weeks)
Located at Montreal’s Olympic Park in Montreal and in Saint-Lambert, (south-Shore) our mission is to offer excellent rehabilitation and sports medicine services to athletes, active people and the population of the Greater Montreal. Our integrative approach brings together several professionals and allows them to share their knowledge skills, to offer better care.
We are looking for a Certified Athletic therapist, moved by passion, with an interest in:
1. Clinical work with a private clientele.
2. Conditioning / reconditioning of patients at home and in a clinical setting.
3. Event coverage 5-10h/week.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must:
1. Hold a license to practice in athletic therapy with the CATA and the CTSQ.
2. Have 3 to 5 years of experience (or equivalent) in clinical, field and conditioning / reconditioning work with a school and private clientele.
3. Being able to work in French, French is the working language of the 2 clinics.
4. Ability to communicate and maintain professional relationships.
5. Be very comfortable in a computerized environment (electronic records).
6. Have a driver’s license and be able to transport equipment.
7. Have a certificate of good conduct issued by the SQ (work with minors in schools).
8. Have a valid first responder certificate. FMS, CSCC, Paul Check or other equivalencies an asset.
9. Training with Cook, Cressey, Mates, McGill, Wincroft, Boyle or equivalencies also an asset.
SALARY AND CONDITIONS:
1. In-house mentoring and continuing education.
2. Continuing Education Budget for Athletic Therapy courses.
3. Salary according to the CTSQ salary scale.
4. Membership at the Olympic Parc Sports Center.
5. Group insurance (life, salary, health care, medication) after 3 months of work.
6. Free participation in the group RRSP.
