Marika in a nutshell…

Marika completed her Master’s in Physiotherapy from McGill University in 2017, where she also obtained her certification in pelvic floor rehabilitation. Since her graduation, she has pursued her passion for sports and orthopedic physiotherapy, working in environments conducive to her learning in these domains. As a member of McGill Triathlon Club since 2015, she has developed an expertise in the treatment of injuries related to triathlon (swimming, running, and biking).

She also specializes in the treatment of pelvic conditions including incontinence, pelvic pain and dyspareunia, and perinatal conditions. She offers advice on birth preparation and return to sport after giving birth.

Marika grew up in Boston, where she worked as a Red Cross certified swim instructor for children including those with disabilities. There, she developed her passion for teaching and optimizing movement.Her greatest satisfaction is to see her patients return to their favorite sports and activities. She utilizes a tailored and personalized approach, based on the latest research in physiotherapy.

Sports/hobbies…

Marika is a member of McGill triathlon club and participates in several triathlons each year. She has a particular passion for running and also enjoys taking part in running races. As a child, Marika also figure skated for 8 years both recreationally and competitively.
