John in a nutshell...

A member of the STADIUM team since 2001, John studied Sports Therapy at Concordia University in Montreal and obtained his certification with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) in 2003. He graduated with a diploma in osteopathy from the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal (CEO) in 2013, where he received the "William Garner Sutherland" Award of Excellence for his thesis titled "The Impact of Osteopathic Treatment on Symptoms and Balance in Athletes with Concussions."

John works as an osteopath with a variety of clients of all ages. He combines his professional experiences and knowledge to offer targeted and personalized services to each of his patients.

John also served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 10 years from 1995 to 2005 and participated in a UN mission in the Middle East in 2001.

Sports event coverage
As a therapist with the National Artistic Swimming Center from January 2005 to January 2013, he also worked with high-level athletes in short track speed skating, diving, beach volleyball, Paralympic athletics, running, rugby, and many others.

His work as a therapist with athletes and national teams has led him to experience several competitive events, including:

  • Winter Universiade (FISU), Italy 2013
  • World Championships, World Cups, and national competitions in Artistic Swimming, Short Track Speed Skating, and Paralympic Athletics

Sports practiced
John is a sports enthusiast and enjoys running. He has participated in several amateur races, including marathons and triathlons.
