Émilie Berthelot Gagné is a professional member of the Canadian Society of Sport Psychology (CSSP). She collaborates with Excellence chez nous and Excellence sportive de l'île de Montréal as a mental preparation consultant.
She has undergone various training on grief, suicide, active listening, and has attended various conferences on sports psychology in Canada and the United States. For over 5 years, she has been primarily working as a mental preparation consultant with student-athletes at various levels (hopeful, emerging, elite, excellence) in both individual and team sports in sports-study programs. Mission statementÉmilie Berthelot Gagné's mission is to promote learning in mental preparation among athletes to foster their social, emotional, and personal development in the realm of sports, using applied principles of sports psychology in the context of athletic performance. Furthermore, she is committed to developing close relationships with coaches who are willing to collaborate in order to maximize their coaching effectiveness.

Émilie began her professional involvement in the sports field while she was a graduate student. In 2013 and 2014, she was recruited as a mental preparation consultant at an elite soccer camp to introduce athletes to sports psychology through various workshops. Since 2013, she has offered training sessions and conferences on sports psychology at various sports events, such as the training camp of the Centre-du-Québec, Estrie and Richelieu Yamaska Swimming Association (ANCQERY), referee training - hockey referee school in Quebec, annual meeting - Triathlon Drummondville, etc.
Sports / hobbiesPhysical activity has always been part of her daily life. At a young age, her passion for sports developed through recreational and competitive involvement in horseback riding, cross-country running, and dancing. Currently, Émilie engages in various recreational physical activities such as running, mountain biking, mountain hiking, etc.
